Maybe he can fit it via skillpoints but mentally he lacks the ability to predict being attacked in (looking at the map) the most/2nd most pirated system in eve atm.

make it so you cant activate self destruct while being targeted.

eh? the self destruct is there for virtually the sole purpose of making sure nobody else gets your stuff. where is the sore loser bit? you accept gatecamping in a mothership as perfectly reasonable behaviour, but consider stopping somebody getting anyhting off your doomed ship to be 'lame' and the pilot a 'sore loser' who is 'ftl'?

If i was going to lose a dread, hadn't been offered any kind of ransom and had no friendlies in the area to get my stuff back.. hell, i'd hit the big red button too.
it's not a temper tantrum if it's the only thing left to do, surely?
